Well after a rather boring day at work I was looking forward to my cycle home...
Now here in Stavanger I enjoy a really nice cycle along the fjords back into town and normally its really nice and a change of pace after a day in the office.
Today however as I cycled back along the path I came across a little bit of construction work going on. Part of this work involved a water pipe from the fjord along the track. "No problem" I think to myself, I've came across things like this before, I'll just bunny hop over it....
Well I'm not sure how many of you out there are familiar with carbon framed bikes but it turns out this not a great idea and its at this point I discover the bike has some fatigue to the frame and on landing decides to break in two
So I'm now on a track 7km from my apartment and 2.5km from the nearest train. Since the the frame is pretty much done for, I take the wheels off and leave the frame where it is
If its still there tomorrow I'll get some pics of the damage. Now for the worst part... I've really badly bruised my right wrist so it looks like holding a camera might cause a bit of pain for a while. So no pics for me for a few days
